Staff who see only their part of the business, several companies in one OSuite, and your Tally data brought across.
Each person, their own part.
Give each user a role: full access, accountant, sales and billing, purchase and stores, read only, or one you make. A role sets view, edit or nothing for sales, purchases, inventory, payments, accounts, GST and payroll. Screens and menus a person cannot use simply are not there.
Several companies, separate books.
Keep each firm in its own set of books, with its own GSTIN and numbering, and switch between them from the top of the menu. Your login carries across companies where you have the same password.
Bring your Tally data.
Export your masters from Tally as XML and import them: ledgers become customers and vendors with their GSTINs, stock items become products, and opening balances come across. Try it first without saving anything.
